Measured result
From off the first screen to the first organic result for "42 tirana", within six weeks (29 April → 9 June 2025).

Context

42 Tirana is the Albanian campus of an international network of coding schools. Its name appeared on the global network website, social profiles and partner articles. The global network site, the social profiles and the partner articles all covered the phrase “42 Tirana” better than the school’s own website did.

When we measured it in April 2025, the site did not appear on the first screen at all for its own searches. The audit also found technical issues – broken links, 404s, ten URLs that were nothing but redirects, and http and https versions serving different content.

What we built

We did not build a new site. We built a page-by-page keyword plan and one prioritised task list, and then implemented them.

The most important part was not technical. It was a table: for each page of the site, in both languages, a target keyword, a descriptive slug, an SEO title and a meta description – written, not generated. The site already had good Albanian content; what it lacked was that content telling Google what it was about.

After that came rewriting three key pages with proper heading structure and internal links, and the technical cleanup: broken links, 404s, stacked redirects and the http/https mismatch. Legal pages were set to noindex, because they were competing for crawl attention with the pages that needed to rank.

Outcome

We measured again six weeks later, on 9 June 2025.

The title that appeared in Google in June was word-for-word the one we proposed in the table in April.

Technical stateBeforeAfter
Broken links30
404 errors20
URLs that were only redirects102
Duplicate content20%15%
Common content16%24%
Unique content64%61%

Common content increased and unique content decreased. This happens because the page count dropped: once you remove empty pages and redirects, navigation makes up a larger share of what is left. It is a consequence of the cleanup rather than a new problem – but it is a number that got worse.

How this was measured. Both measurements used the same tools, six weeks apart. Two things to know before reading them: the domain name changed between them, so the technical comparison is between two hosts; and the April screenshots were taken in a private window, the June ones in a signed-in browser. These differences limit a direct comparison of the results. We have no Search Console export for this engagement, so the proof here is positions, not traffic.
