What we collect

When you contact us or request a quote

Forms may collect your name, email, phone number, business name, budget, project description and any calculator selections you choose to send. We also record the source page, language, IP address and the fact that you accepted the processing of your data. The enquiry is stored in the site database and sent by email so it is not lost if either channel fails.

Using the calculator without submitting a form does not store your selections on the server.

When you comment on the blog

If comments are open, WordPress stores your name, email, optional website, comment, IP address and browser type. Your name and comment are public; your email is not. The theme does not load profile images from Gravatar.

Technical and security logs

The server and security network record technical requests such as IP address, time, requested URL, browser and referring page. These records support delivery, diagnostics, abuse prevention and incident investigation.

Preferences and analytics

We store your cookie choice for 180 days.

When Google Analytics 4 is enabled in the site configuration, it loads only after you select “Accept”. Advertising permissions remain denied. If you decline, the analytics script is not downloaded. You can change your choice from Cookie settings in the footer.

Purposes and legal bases

Processing purposes and legal bases
Processing Purpose and basis
Enquiries and quotes To reply and take steps before a contract; your consent and request for services.
Client projects To deliver the agreement, invoice and provide support; contract performance and legal obligations.
Comments To administer public discussion and spam; consent and our legitimate moderation interest.
Security logs To keep the service safe and available; our legitimate interest.
Analytics To understand page usage; your consent only.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 24 months after the last contact.
  • Client data: during the relationship and usually 5 years after it ends, or longer where financial-record law or a dispute requires it.
  • Comments: while the article remains available, or until you request deletion.
  • Server and security logs: according to the provider configuration and only as long as needed for security; records isolated for an incident may remain until it is closed.
  • GA4 data: no more than 14 months when analytics is enabled.
  • Cookie choice: 180 days.

Who else processes the data

We do not sell data or share it for marketing. Processor categories that may handle it are cloudys.com for hosting, the email/SMTP provider, Cloudflare for delivery and security, and Google Analytics only after consent.

Some providers operate international infrastructure. Where data leaves Albania or the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards required by applicable law and the relevant processor agreements.

How we protect it

We use HTTPS, access controls, security updates, automated-submission protection and request rate limits. No system is risk-free, so we restrict access and collection to what is needed.

Your rights

You may request information and access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, subject to the conditions in applicable law. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out lawfully.

Email [email protected]. We respond without undue delay and within 30 calendar days; complex requests may be extended as the law allows, with notice.

You may complain to Albania’s Information and Data Protection Commissioner. Where the GDPR applies to your situation, you may also contact the supervisory authority where you live or work.

Children

Our services are directed to businesses and we do not seek to collect children’s data. If you believe a child has submitted data, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.

Cookies and changes

Technical details and the way to change your choice are in the Cookie Policy. When this policy changes materially, we update the date above and request consent again where necessary.

Legal framework

This policy is based on Albanian Law no. 124/2024 “On the Protection of Personal Data”, in force from 1 February 2025, and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) where it applies.
